I began attending Iyengar yoga classes in 2002. Since qualifying in 2011 I have taught pupils of all ages and abilities, including students from the University of the Arts and guests at Crisis' emergency winter shelter.
I chose Iyengar Yoga because of its emphasis on accuracy, safety and integrity. I've found the practice of yoga to be a reliable and powerful tool, providing stability and resilience through all stages of life. It has made me stronger physically and emotionally, consistently reminding me of the need to develop sensitivity towards myself and the world around me. My goal as a teacher is to help others benefit from as much as I have from Iyengar Yoga.
