Russell Coates is a ceramic artist - his unique style is influenced by Kutani Ware that he studied in Japan, and family holidays in Britain. He uses natural forms of birds, plants, animals and sea-life from African and American art. These forms including Hoopoes, deer and dolphins, combine to create beautiful designs depicting the natural world themes of sea, land and sky.
