During my formative five years I trained at Lancaster School of Art and UWE in Bristol studying Art and Design, Fashion & Textiles.
I have spent 30 amazing years of my life in the hectic corporate world of Design, Sales and Marketing. I needed an outlet to keep myself sane, well almost!!! So I chose to travel the world when I could and combined my working career with attending innumerable painting and crafts workshops at the University of Bath, St Ives School of Painting and Newlyn School of Art.
I did critiques and lectured at London College of Fashion and applied what I had learnt and what inspired me, by transferring my knowledge to teaching art that was calming and restorative by encouraging different levels of students to value them selves and their art work in a calm and creative environment. Working with water colour on paper or silk, using different techniques and mark making to creating their very own personal work of art.
