This class will focus on the key techniques used in watercolours such as colour mixing and tone, laying washes, glazing, mark-making with a variety of brushes and textures.

The class will be relaxed and informative and is aimed at beginners or those who wish to re-visit the medium and update their skills. We will practice these techniques through a series of projects based around the components of landscape, such as trees and hills and small still life studies.

By the end of this course you will have a set of basic watercolour skills to build on and practice with handouts acting as aide memoires.
