Do you sometimes wish you could get behind the headlines on social, political and economic issues of the day? This interactive five-week series gives you opportunity to explore a diverse range of contemporary issues. Each session will include a short presentation based on current sources and insights as the basis for informal discussion and creative group exercises.

In this opening series we will consider a different topic each week. These include technology, eco responsibility, global democracy, assisted dying and culture wars and how these affect life in 2024. No experience necessary, but curious, enquiring minds are very welcome.
